Only recognized Canadian schools may register for the
Geography Challenge. There is no limit to the number of
students or classes within the school that may compete.
The competition kit will enable the school to conduct
the Challenge in as many classes as desired.
Individuals may not register. Home school students must
compete at a local school or within a group of home school
students in order to register.
There are two levels of competition:
Grades 4-6 (English & French)
Grades 7-10 (English & French)
Challenge registration fees:
Level 1 - $25.00
Level 2 - $35.00
Level 1 & 2 - $45.00
LEVEL 1
GRADES 4 TO 6
The Level 1 Challenge is a fun way to teach geography
in the classroom with schools eligible
for a prize draw.
Upon registration, your school will receive access to the downloadable Challenge
competition kit with:
- Easy instructions to run the Challenge
- Complete set of questions and answers
- Certificates for the top three winners
- Certificate of participation for duplication to all
students
- One-year subscription to Canadian Geographic for the school winner

LEVEL 2
GRADES 7 TO 10
The Level 2 Challenge provides students with an opportunity
to test their knowledge in friendly competition at the
school, provincial and national levels.
Upon registration, your school will receive access to the downloadable Challenge
competition kit with:
- Easy instructions to run the Challenge
- Complete set of questions and answers
- Certificates for the top three winners
- Certificate of participation for duplication to all
students
- One-year subscription to Canadian Geographic for the school winner

Deadline for registration*:
March 14, 2014.
*EARLY BIRD DRAW:
Register before November 15, 2013 and you will automatically be entered into a draw to
win The Canadian Atlas ($80 retail value).
