The Geography Challenge takes place throughout the school year.

September 6, 2011	2011-2012 Geography Challenge Registration Packages available for download for Grades 4 to 6 (Level 1) and Grades 7 to 10 (Level 2).
November 15, 2011	Early Bird Draw For Grades 4 to 6 (Level 1) and Grades 7 to 10 (Level 2).
February 29, 2012	Registration deadline For Grades 4 to 6 (Level 1) and Grades 7 to 10 (Level 2).
February 29, 2012	Provincial/Territorial Challenge Deadline For Grades 7 to 10 (Level 2).
February 29, 2012	School Winner Deadline for Grades 7 to 10 (Level 2) to register the school winner for a free subscription to Canadian Geographic magazine.
March 15, 2012	National Final notification For Grades 7 to 10 (Level 2) students who have qualified to proceed to the National Final.
April 19, 2012	School Winner Deadline for Grades 4 to 6 (Level 1) to register the school winner for a free subscription to Canadian Geographic magazine.
April 19, 2012	Online National Final
